Within this year’s Anglican Mission Winter Conference, we will be offering a prayer and healing ministry training on Wednesday, January 25, from 9:00 to 12:30. As prayer and healing ministry has always been a vital aspect of our identity in the Anglican Mission, we invite everyone and anyone from all our congregations to come, learn, grow, and participate. During this training, we will cover the basic biblical theology, model, and practice of prayer and healing ministry upheld and encouraged by the Anglican Mission. We will be asking questions like, “Why do we pray for others? How do we pray for others? What do we pray for others?”
Again, everyone is invited to this training. It will be led by Rev. Matt Kessler and Cynthia Franklin of Grace Northridge in San Antonio, Texas, Rev. David Larlee of All Saints Dallas, Rev. Hunter Mobley of Christ Church in Nashville, Tennessee, and Mary Maude Shaffer of St. Andrew’s Church in Little Rock, Arkansas.
We will meet at the Marriott Quorum, our Winter Conference Hotel. Please make plans to arrive in Dallas and check into the hotel the day before. There is no cost to attend this training. However, we ask that you please RSVP before January 10th so that we are able to reserve an appropriate space and print the necessary materials. We will publish more details as we get closer to the event.
Registration for the training can be found here.
